What is Influenza?

Influenza, or the flu, is a very contagious virus that attacks the respiratory system. Symptoms of the flu are a fever, a cough, a sore throat, runny or stuffy nose. The age group most likely to get influenza is ages 0-17. The flu spreads from tiny droplets that are made when you sneeze, cough, or talk.
